One of his favorite marketing endeavors included a contest for a new kitchen that he called the Worst Kitchen Contest. He always wanted to give away a new kitchen remodel, and was able to do so three different times. He hopes to be able to revive this creative marketing event on Builtinz.
His experience selling kitchen and bath products started in the summer of 2008 right before the great recession began, and he has sold products throughout the United States and Canada since then. Builtinz is the culmination of much of his dreams that he has had while working in the industry, and hopes to be able to use many of his creative ideas to offer helpful services and products to a much larger audience.

Shad has been designing kitchens and selling kitchen and bath products since 1994. His experience included manufacturing cabinets, appliance sales, and then into full design of kitchens, bathrooms and other areas of the house. Because of his natural artistic talents, he has a great sense of color, space and balance, his clients have been able to rely on his advice to help in making design decisions.
He has been involved in nearly one thousand kitchen remodels, and over one hundred new construction projects. He has worked on some unusual projects, like remodeling all the kitchens in a Coast Guard housing on Kodiak Island in Alaska. He also managed all of the kitchen, bath and built-in design, and construction on an 18,000 square foot home in the foothills of Anchorage Alaska.
He has sold nearly every product for the interior of the home, and loves to see the completion of his design visions. He also enjoys sharing his ideas and creative solutions with homeowners, designers and contractors. He has done this through a weekly radio show for four years, workshops and seminars at trade shows, and many articles in design industry magazines.
